Eric Omondi, the self-proclaimed President of Comedy in Africa, has called on renowned Tanzanian gospel artist Christina Shusho to establish a church in Kenya.
During a sermon at Shusho’s church, The Dreamers Centre in Tanzania, over the weekend, the comedian expressed his admiration for her ministry. He stated that Kenyans deeply love and appreciate her work and would be thrilled if she opened a branch of her church in Kenya.
Eric Omondi Praises Christina Shusho’s Anointing
Omondi described Shusho as a true servant of God, blessed and anointed to spread the gospel. He explained that many Kenyans are spiritually hungry and would greatly benefit from her ministry.
“Christina Shusho is blessed with the anointing of God, and we in Kenya recognize this. We would love to see her open a church in Kenya,” he said. Omondi added, “Kenyans are eager for the gospel, and if she establishes a church here, many souls would be delivered.”
The comedian also referenced the international nature of The Dreamers Centre, noting its diversity and Shusho’s mission to spread the word of God. On behalf of Kenyans, he prayed that God would guide and inspire her to bring her ministry to Kenya.
Kenyans’ Love for Shusho’s Ministry
Omondi pointed out that Kenyans only get to meet the Shusha Nyavu hitmaker during her occasional visits. He emphasized that her anointing to spread the gospel would be a blessing to Kenyans if she had a permanent presence in the country through a church.
Eric Omondi’s Journey as an Evangelist
The comedian also shared his personal testimony, revealing that he began preaching the gospel as a high school student in Form Two. “I am an evangelist. God spoke to me when I was in Form Two, and I have been preaching since high school and college,” Omondi said, adding that he would gladly deliver sermons if given the opportunity.
Shusho’s Response to Omondi’s Appeal
Christina Shusho was moved by Omondi’s testimony and prayed for him, declaring that the spirit of evangelism within her would also be activated in him.
“I multiply myself to you. The same gospel spirit that’s in me, I transfer it to you. I don’t care what people might say, but what I know is that God’s seed never fails,” she prayed.
Omondi’s appeal reflects his deep admiration for Shusho’s ministry and a desire to see her message reach even more people in Kenya.
