‘Engineer’ Oscar Sudi gifts Nuru Okanga 1.3 Million & a 3-bedroom house

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has generously gifted Nuru Okanga Ksh 1.3 million and offered to buy him a three-bedroom house.

During an appearance on Obinna TV, Okanga shared his heartfelt request with Sudi, saying, “With your kind heart, if God moves you to give me Ksh 1 million, it would stabilize my business, and my wife would receive Ksh 300,000.”

Sudi responded positively, expressing his readiness to help Okanga improve his life. “If you want Ksh 1.3 million, open a bank account, and I’ll transfer the money to you,” Sudi stated. He also offered to buy Okanga a house under the ongoing Affordable Housing Program. “Find a three-bedroom house, whether in Kibera or Mukuru kwa Njenga, and I will purchase it for your family,” the MP added.

Sudi explained that his assistance aims to help Okanga understand the value of having financial stability. He invited Okanga to his office to meet with his lawyer, who would provide guidance and present housing options. “Come tomorrow to my office, meet my lawyer, and we’ll proceed with buying the house,” Sudi said.

Sudi shared that he relates to Okanga’s struggles, having faced similar challenges in his early life after dropping out of school. “I used to have problems like yours, but things have since improved,” he noted.

During the interview, Okanga revealed that he moved to Nairobi in 2012 and has worked in construction (mjengo) for over a decade. He also mentioned that he previously worked as a herder in Ukambani before deciding to move to Nairobi for better opportunities.

Grateful for the support, Okanga expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thank you so much, Mheshimiwa, and may God bless you.”

Sudi, on the other hand, shared that he arrived in Nairobi in 2000 at the age of 19, highlighting the similarities in their backgrounds.
