Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria earlier declared that he would not be vying for any political seat come 2022 August. However, in a sudden change of events, the vocal legislature has now declared that he is going for Kiambu gubernatorial seat.
This has shocked many as the legislature had not shown any signs of going for the county’s top seat. His entrance to Kiambu politics will sharply change the dynamics of the populous county’s politics.
“Vox Populi Vox Dei. The voice of the people is the voice of God. So help me God. Under your wings I feel safe,” Kuria said.
The country is significant in national politics and it’s capture by either of the presidential candidates is a boost to their votes basket.
Kuria will be going against the former governor Kabogo William through his party and the incumbent Nyoro who is going through Jubilee. Kuria is seeking the position through his party Chama Cha Kazi.
