Just hours after a closed-door meeting, opposition leaders have appointed Hon. Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi as the official spokesperson and Head of the Opposition Secretariat.
The meeting, which was chaired by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, brought together a powerful team of opposition figures who pledged to work in unity for the good of the nation.
Among those present were Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Fred Matiang’i, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Dr Mukhisa Kituyi, Mithika Linturi, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, and Torome Saitoti, who represented former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.
