In a no-holds-barred critique of gospel singer Guardian Angel, Andrew Kibe adopted a confrontational stance. Kibe was unreserved in expressing his disapproval of Guardian Angel’s decision to marry Esther Musila, who is older than him.
Kibe did not mince words when it came to sharing his opinions and engaging in fiery debates with Guardian Angel. He openly questioned Guardian Angel’s choice of life partner, particularly highlighting the age gap between him and Esther Musila.
In one of his video segments, Kibe delved into the contemporary trends in relationships, shedding light on the increasing phenomenon of men opting for older women as their partners in Kenya and around the world.
Guardian Angel responded to claims that his marriage to Esther Musila was motivated by her financial resources. He explained that one reason behind this shift in relationship dynamics is that some men who choose older women may lack financial stability and seek a shortcut to success, hoping that being with an older woman will lead to immediate prosperity.
Using Guardian Angel as an example, Kibe argued that the singer of hits like “Nadeka” and “Tunazidi” entered a relationship with a 53-year-old woman primarily due to financial instability.
Kibe did not stop at critiquing Guardian Angel’s financial choices; he also commented on his physical appearance. Kibe suggested that, because of what he perceived as a lack of attractiveness, Guardian Angel resorted to seeking support from an older woman and even drew a somewhat unflattering comparison to Shakazulu.
Kibe went further to assert that a self-respecting and ambitious man with aspirations for a better future would not typically choose to be with an older woman who is unable to conceive. He made disparaging remarks about Guardian Angel and Esther Musila’s marriage, suggesting that the chances of conceiving at age 35 or 40 were extremely slim.
It’s worth noting that this was not the first time that Kibe had launched an attack on the couple, persistently criticizing their relationship.
