A government that promised you heaven has delivered hunger, higher taxes, and hopelessness. While Kenyans struggle, they celebrate PR Enough is Enough. We are coming for that job to deliver for kenyans.~Jeremiah Kioni

Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has launched a scathing attack on the current administration, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises to Kenyans.

In a strongly worded statement, Kioni claimed the government pledged prosperity but has instead presided over rising taxes, economic hardship and growing frustration among citizens. “A government that promised you heaven has delivered hunger, higher taxes, and hopelessness,” he said, adding that leaders appear more focused on public relations than addressing economic challenges.

Kioni further declared, “Enough is Enough. We are coming for that job to deliver for Kenyans,” signalling his party’s intention to challenge the current leadership in the next electoral cycle.

His remarks reflect mounting political pressure as opposition figures intensify criticism over the cost of living and taxation policies. Supporters of the government, however, maintain that reforms underway are necessary to stabilise the economy and ensure long-term growth.

The statement underscores the deepening political contest as leaders position themselves ahead of future elections, with the economy remaining a central issue in national debate.
