“They neither want my money nor my property; the only thing they want from me is my land, and I am not ready to give it to them,” reveals Rafael Tuju.
The former Cabinet Secretary said the dispute surrounding his property is not about financial compensation but about attempts by other parties to take over his land. Tuju insisted that despite pressure and ongoing legal battles, he remains determined to defend his ownership rights and will not surrender the property.
The remarks come amid a long-running land dispute involving Tuju and several business entities over prime land in Nairobi. The matter has been the subject of court proceedings, with Tuju maintaining that the efforts to claim the land are unjustified.
He emphasized that his position remains firm, stating that the conflict is centered purely on the land itself, not any money or alternative settlement.
