“Nilipiga nduru kwa police station ndio dunia ijue Ruto alikua anataka kuniua.”-Seth Panyako

Former Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) Secretary-General Seth Panyako has once again stirred controversy after claiming that his life was in danger following a fallout with President William Ruto. Speaking during an interview, Panyako narrated a dramatic moment in which he says he was forced to scream for help inside a police station so that the world would know he was being targeted.

According to Panyako, the situation escalated after disagreements with the President over political and professional matters. He alleges that powerful individuals wanted to silence him, prompting him to seek protection from the police. “Nilipiga nduru ndani ya kituo cha polisi ili dunia ijue kwamba Ruto alitaka kuniua,” Panyako insisted, saying he feared for his safety and had no other option at the time.

He claimed that his outcry inside the station was a desperate attempt to draw public attention and prevent what he believes would have been a dangerous outcome. Panyako has in recent months been vocal about what he terms government intimidation, even after declining a position previously offered to him by President Ruto.

His remarks have sparked fresh debate online, with supporters and critics exchanging views over the seriousness of the allegations. However, relevant authorities have not issued an official statement addressing Panyako’s claims.
