This was the case in Nyamira County after a Form Four student disappeared from home for four days, leaving her parents worried. Matters took a shocking turn when the girl’s father received information that she had been spotted in a lodging with a local teacher.
Without hesitation, he mobilized villagers and stormed the guest house, where they found the teacher and the girl together. Chaos erupted as the angry crowd descended on the teacher, subjecting him to a thorough beating.
Luckily for him, police officers arrived just in time and rescued him from the mob before things could escalate further.
The incident has raised alarm in the area, with residents condemning the teacher’s actions. Authorities have also cautioned adults against preying on school-going girls, warning that such behavior only leads to shame, violence, and jail time.
