A video has surfaced capturing a visibly distressed woman with a bruised face, allegedly resulting from her refusal to accompany a man who had purchased a KFC meal worth Ksh 670 for her.
In the footage reviewed by Waza, the man, accompanied by the tearful woman, asserted that he had bought her lunch and, consequently, expected her to accompany him home. However, the woman changed her stance once the meal was purchased.
Throughout the incident, another man intervened to prevent further harm to the woman. He admonished the man for attempting to coerce the woman into going home with him simply because he had bought her a meal.
Recognizing the woman’s predicament, the intervening man called for a boda boda rider to transport her home to her child, as she had mentioned her intent to reunite with her baby.
