Young Activist Samuel Makori, alias Kasmuel McOure, Denies Being Expelled from Alliance Boys

In an interview with Radio Jambo Digital on Thursday morning, 26-year-old activist and artist Samuel Makori, better known as Kasmuel McOure, addressed rumors that he was expelled from Alliance Boys High School.

Kasmuel clarified that while he wasn’t expelled, he did engage in some mischievous behavior after joining the prestigious school in Form 2.

He admitted to being suspended multiple times before eventually transferring from the Kiambu-based school to another national institution, Maranda High School.

“I started getting into mischief in Form 2, just like any other teenager. It wasn’t about 4G; it was suspensions. 4G is something voluntary. I changed schools because of life; there’s a lot to experience in high school, a lot to explore. It’s just life,” Kasmuel shared.

The young activist, who has recently been at the forefront of protests against the government, opened up about his high school experiences and also shared details about his personal life, confirming that he is currently in a relationship.

“Yes, I am dating,” he said. “Dating is a good thing. I would recommend it. Having someone you love, someone you respect, someone who is also your friend—I think that’s very nice.”

When discussing youth politics, Kasmuel expressed his opposition to the creation of a Gen-Z political party, arguing that it would be too exclusive and only represent a specific age group. “Find a party that aligns with your values, positions, and movements, and join it,” he advised.

Kasmuel has recently gained attention on social media and other platforms due to his active involvement in anti-government protests. His outspoken views on education, relationships, and youth politics have made him a prominent figure among young activists.
