Kikuyu actress Wanjiku Wa Muigai, daughter of renowned gospel artist Muigai Wa Njoroge, has shared her views on matters concerning culture and religion. Speaking in an interview on Jeff Kuria’s YouTube channel, the 21-year-old said that the belief in a God who resides in heaven is a fallacy. According to Wanjiku, every human being is a god, since the Bible states that God created man in His own likeness therefore, every person carries divine power within them.
Additionally, the Kikuyu culture enthusiast stated that it is taboo to commercialize a dead body for instance, keeping it in a mortuary while waiting for burial. She emphasized that, when she dies, she should be buried before sunset on the same day and wrapped in animal skin.
Is Wanjiku married? No. She says her future husband must share her cultural beliefs and should not attempt to introduce her to Christianity, which she claims has brainwashed Kikuyu traditions. She insists that her future children will not attend church or practice Christianity.
