A middle aged man has stabbed his wife and attempted suicide at Afraha apartments in Nakuru town and then later tried to commit suicide.
The 40-year-old man identified as Paul Ochieng is said to have attempted to jump off the balcony after committing the act.
It is reported that Ochieng killed his wife identified as Njeri Kamande after a domestic rumble between the two
The report was confirmed by Nakuru Sub County Police Commander, Elllena Kabukuru who added that the suspect is currently receiving treatment at the Nakuru level five hospital awaiting murder charges.
A knife which is said to have been used to commit the henious act was to be recovered from the crime scene while the couple’s 5-year-old twins were rescued by neighbors.
The body of the deceased has since been moved to the Nakuru County Mortuary.
