Content creator Brian Chira recently issued an apology to renowned radio presenter and TikTok sensation, Azziad Nasenya, after facing legal consequences for his actions. In a heartfelt video posted on social media, Chira acknowledged his mistakes and expressed remorse for the harm caused.
“I deeply regret the events that have unfolded, and I understand that the damage has already been done. All I can do now is look forward and take responsibility for my actions,” Chira said.
He went on to express his profound admiration and respect for Azziad Nasenya, acknowledging her talent and influence. “I hold Azziad in such high regard; she is someone I truly admire and adore.”
In his plea for forgiveness, Chira, who is only 22 years old, emphasized his youthfulness and asked that the situation not escalate further. He shared personal concerns about his family, including his grandmother and two cousins, who were waiting for him.
Desiring to make amends in person, Chira proposed a meeting with Azziad Nasenya. He even took the effort to discover her preferences, mentioning that her favorite things are socks and avocados, and expressed his intent to present them as gifts while sharing a meal of nyama choma.
Chira humbly stated that he was ready to do whatever it takes to right his wrongs, even suggesting going to rehab if necessary.
The situation escalated to legal action when Chira insulted Azziad on a TikTok live stream and disclosed her personal contacts on social media, prompting her legal team to take action. He was subsequently arrested and spent three days and four nights in jail before being released on a cash bail of Sh50,000.
Azziad’s lawyer clarified that the possibility of accepting Chira’s apology lies entirely with her. If she believes that his apology is genuine and sincere, she has the freedom to forgive him.
