Unfortunately, after several years of success in Tahidi High, Miss Morgan left the show. Angel Waruingi’s departure definitely left a huge gap in Tahidi High. On the other hand, it marked a new chapter in her life.

Miss Morgan’s departure from Tahidi High

Her ‘brief’ exit from Tahidi High came after over 7 years of playing the role of a no-nonsense teacher in the show. This is after she got a contract to work on a new show, M-Net, Jane and Abel. Tahidi High producers left her to live for 2 years as she needed change.

In other words, it was not developing. The actress decided to leave Tahidi High to explore other opportunities.

Angel was immensely affected after the sudden change in her life. She found it difficult to separate her personal life and celebrity life. Angel’s fans only recognized her as Miss Morgan, not knowing it was only a role in Tahidi High. It was tough to cope with it.

She became depressed as she tried to separate Angel from ‘Miss Morgan,’ the actress. It was then that she started using alcohol as an ‘escape route’.
That’s not all; her weight size made her have low self-esteem for a long period.

This cost her so many job opportunities, as she recalls being a plus size and light-skinned with a baby face; Angel admits that it really affected her.

Recovery from depression

Luckily, she realized that all was not going well in her life. Angel Waruingi then decided to give herself time to heal. First and foremost, she changed her environment with immediate effect.
She also actively worked closely with family members and friends to ‘fight’ her tough situation.
