Milly Wa Jesus: Do Not do Wifely Duties When You’re a Girlfriend only kitakuramba!

Millicent Wambui Nganga, popularly known as Milly Wa Jesus, has shared valuable advice with young women in relationships, urging them not to perform wifely duties when they are only girlfriends. In an exclusive interview with Mungai Eve,

the digital content creator emphasized that many young women who take on these roles end up being married to someone else. Milly Wa Jesus made it clear that wifely duties should be reserved for married women, not for those who are simply in a dating phase.

She strongly advised women to maintain their position as a girlfriend during dating, warning that performing wifely duties prematurely leads to being taken for granted. “Young ladies, do not commit yourself to someone who’s not committed to you. Do not do wifely duties when you’re a girlfriend. Please, don’t do that. When you do that, you’re taken for granted and they get comfortable,” she stated.

Milly Wa Jesus emphasized that the responsibilities of pregnancy, submission, and respect towards husbands are meant for married women, not for girlfriends. She encouraged young women to only engage in light duties and mutual respect in a relationship, stressing that true commitment comes with marriage. “Commit to someone who has committed to you, and the only way they can commit is through marriage—nothing else, nothing less,” she added.

Peter Kabi, known as Kabi Wa Jesus, also weighed in on the topic, calling for faithfulness in relationships. He urged young men and women to reject the normalization of cheating, stating, “We should not normalize cheating. Cohabitation is not a good idea,” and encouraged couples to practice faithfulness and respect in their relationships.
