Man United fan Comedian KK attempts to eat 1kg of chili pepper after defeat by Chelsea

Manchester United enthusiast and comedian known as Comedian KK recently embarked on a fiery culinary challenge in response to his team’s defeat by Chelsea on Thursday. In a bold display of devotion, he pledged to consume a staggering one kilogram (kg) of green chili peppers if Manchester United were to lose.

True to his word, KK found himself facing the daunting task after the unexpected outcome of the match. Sporting his Manchester United jersey proudly, he shared an image on his Instagram page, depicting himself poised with a plate brimming with chili peppers, ready to undertake the fiery feat.

“I gathered all I could from the market. I can’t predict what lies ahead, but since I made a promise to you all, I must follow through,” he affirmed.

The initial moments of the challenge captured KK grimacing as he grappled with the intense heat of the chilies during his first bite. Despite the evident struggle, he pressed on, declaring, “This is something I have to do,” before taking another bite.

An hour later, a follow-up video surfaced, revealing KK attempting to quell the fiery aftermath with two liters of soda in a bid to alleviate the burning sensation in his mouth.

The online community, particularly Kenyans, were divided in their reactions, with some expressing admiration for his unwavering allegiance to his team, while others viewed his actions as risky and potentially harmful.

Notable musician Bien from Sauti Sol weighed in, expressing concern over what he perceived as a dangerous pursuit of attention: “Self-harm for the sake of attention is absurd,” he remarked.

However, amidst the mixed reactions, there were voices of approval, with one individual named Ogola commending KK for his integrity, stating, “A man true to his word. Respect to you, brother.”
