Karen Nyamu: Some Men are Meant to be Shared with us

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has expressed her endorsement of polygamy, asserting that specific men should be shared among multiple women.

During a conversation with bloggers, Nyamu shared her perspective that not every man should be confined to a monogamous relationship. She questioned the idea of monopolizing a good man exclusively, stating, “Why monopolize a good man all to yourself? Some men are meant to be shared, and that is why I strongly support polygamy.”

Discussing her relationship with Mugithi artiste Samidoh, Karen openly acknowledged the challenges they have faced, including instances of unfollowing each other on social media. She emphasized that such actions held minimal significance in their relationship, stating, “We’ve unfollowed each other multiple times, but that doesn’t hold significant weight for us.”

The couple, blessed with two children, has been subjected to public scrutiny, particularly after Samidoh’s wife relocated with their three children to the United States.

Karen Nyamu recently played a key role in mobilizing Members of Parliament to contribute funds for Samidoh during the inauguration of his foundation at Parklands Sports Club. During her address, she highlighted Samidoh’s commitment to charitable causes, emphasizing that the raised funds would be utilized for benevolent purposes.

“I am a witness to the passion he has for giving, and normally he does not even boast about it. I am surprised he has videos of him giving. He is a generous person who can give and be left without anything. Your contribution will go to a good cause. We invited many in our senate, and some of them have sent me contributions; the speaker has sent me and others,” stated Nyamu.
