Taking to her social media, Nyamu revealed that she was in the process of gifting the young musician a bodaboda to help him earn a living — a plan that sadly never came to pass.
“I’m so heartbroken. I had a bodaboda for Shalkido, and I was planning to hand it over to him. It’s painful that he’s gone before I could do it,” she wrote.
Fans joined Nyamu in mourning, describing Shalkido’s death as a huge loss to Kenya’s entertainment scene. The former Sailors Gang member had recently shown signs of bouncing back musically before the tragic accident cut his life short.
