Previously, Diamond Platnumz held the YouTube views throne for an extended period.
At present, Burna Boy boasts an impressive 2,252,124,206 views, outshining Diamond Platnumz’s count of 2,246,395,673 views.
Diamond Platnumz became a part of the YouTube community on June 12, 2012, whereas Burna Boy made his YouTube debut on January 13, 2018.
Nonetheless, Platnumz still retains the title of the Sub-Saharan African artist with the most subscribers. His subscriber count exceeds 7.98 million, whereas Burna Boy maintains a following of over 4.13 million subscribers.
Taking the third position is Nigerian star Wizkid, having garnered 1.76 billion views. Fourth place goes to Fally Ipupa with 1.50 billion views, closely followed by Davido in fifth place with 1.40 billion views.
