Senator James Orengo Atwoli has issued a strong warning to the Luhya community in Malava, urging voters to be careful in choosing their leaders ahead of upcoming elections. Atwoli emphasized that electing the wrong representatives could have serious consequences for the community’s influence and development.
He stressed that the choice of leaders will not only affect immediate development but also the ability of the Luhya community to negotiate for key positions and resources at the national level.
We won’t be able to negotiate for major things kama hatuna viongozi,” Atwoli warned.
The Senator’s remarks highlight the importance of strategic leadership and representation for communities seeking to secure development projects and maintain political influence. He urged Malava residents to make informed choices, ensuring that the community remains strong, united, and capable of negotiating effectively at the national level.
As the election period approaches, Atwoli’s warning serves as a reminder that every vote carries weight, and that leadership decisions can significantly impact the progress and positioning of entire communities.
