Radio 47, owned by Cape Media is yet to make a huge signing of a top Radio presenter. Presenters currently working at the said station, are posting on their official socials hinting to fans who the presenter would be. Rumours went round on socials that the presenter might be Fred Obachi Machoka of Radio Citizen, but that is not going to happen.
According to a post published by Ali Hassan Kauleni, a top presenter at Radio 47, he has shared a poster which has clearly set the records straight that the presenter joining the said radio station is none other than Kaka Zema. Zema is one of the all round radio presenters that Kenyan media industry has, he has vast experience in hosting sports shows, doing live football commentary, hosting mid-morning and Taraab shows.
Currently, there is a promo being aired on Radio 47, signaling fans that soon a new program is coming up. Kaka Zema is set to host that show. According to Mr. Geoffrey Mung’ou, head of the said radio station, Kaka Zema will be unveiled to fans and netizens next week on Monday. Netizens have flooded on the official Facebook timeline of Ali Hassan Kauleni, confirming that truly it’s Kaka Zema who is the new signing upon seeing him appearing on the poster that he has posted.
Radio 47 entered the Kenyan media industry three years ago. The management has been signing top presenters in the country including; Alex Mwakideu, Emmanuel Mwashumbe, John Maloba popularly known as Papa Nasty, Fred Arocho, Beatrice Maganga ( News Anchor), Dr. Ofweneke, Eva Mwalili, Mc Japhe, Lindah Oriaso, Mbaruk Mwalimu, Billy Miya among others.
