Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has once again voiced his confidence in President William Ruto’s political prospects, predicting a win in the 2027 general elections. Speaking in a recent address, Mudavadi recalled his previous forecast during the 2022 elections, which initially drew skepticism.
“In 2022, niliwaambia Ruto atashinda kura, watu wakafikiria ni uongo. Ilitendeka ama haikutendeka?” Mudavadi said, referencing how his earlier prediction ultimately came to pass.
He went on to assert that history is likely to repeat itself in 2027. “Sasa nasema 2027, Ruto atashinda kura,” he declared, expressing strong belief in the President’s continued popularity and electoral strength.
Mudavadi’s remarks highlight the growing discourse around Kenya’s next general elections and reflect the alliance dynamics within the ruling coalition. Political analysts note that endorsements and predictions from high-profile leaders like Mudavadi can significantly influence public perception and voter confidence.
As Kenyans prepare for the 2027 elections, statements like these are expected to fuel debate and speculation on the country’s political future, underscoring the pivotal role of influential political figures in shaping narratives ahead of the polls.
