Former Tahidi High Actress Miss Morgan Speaks on Men Who Wanted to Marry Her for Being Famous

Former Tahidi High actress Angel Waruinge, better known by her screen name Miss Morgan, has opened up about her past relationships, revealing that she turned down three marriage proposals.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Alex Mwakideu on August 14, 2025, the actress shared that although she was engaged several times, she chose not to proceed with the unions. According to her, the men who wanted to marry her were more fascinated by her TV character than her real personality.

“I said no to three people who wanted to marry me. Are you marrying Angel Waruinge or Miss Morgan?” she posed, adding that some of the suitors were captivated by her fame rather than who she truly is.

While admitting that she sometimes questions whether she made the right choices, Miss Morgan insisted that marrying someone who only loves the celebrity version of you is a huge mistake.

“Some wanted to marry me simply because I was on a popular show,” she said. “People often want to marry the public figure, not the real person.”

The actress also revealed that her first love was her campus boyfriend, with whom she still shares a deep emotional bond.

“He’s the only person I’ve ever truly loved and will always love,” she confessed.

Miss Morgan further opened up about her daughter’s father, who was once her fiancé. She explained that she called off their relationship just before their traditional engagement ceremony after discovering issues related to his past relationships. Following the breakup, he allegedly withdrew support for their child.

“After I ended the engagement, he told me he wouldn’t raise a child who wasn’t living in his house,” she revealed.

Today, the actress is raising her 18-year-old daughter single-handedly. Despite the challenges, she remains proud of the decisions she made and is committed to giving her daughter the best life possible.
