Oscar Sudi Kapseret MP : How I Acquired My KSh17 Million Luxury Watch

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi recently garnered attention after showing off his Sh17 million watch, a luxury item that has sparked widespread discussion.

Sudi, known for his outspoken personality and lavish lifestyle, shared the story behind his extravagant timepiece during a recent appearance on Obinna’s show.

He explained that the watch, which symbolizes his success and appreciation for fine things, was a generous gift from a close friend—a former Prime Minister from another country.

“I initially had no idea how much it cost… this watch wasn’t made for trees or cows; it was made for people. A close friend of mine, a former Prime Minister, gave it to me. He actually gifted me two watches,” Sudi disclosed.

Despite the opulence of the watch, Sudi emphasized that his wealth was not solely built on high-profile gifts.

He reflected on his modest beginnings, sharing insights from his early work experiences.

“I’ve sold charcoal, worked as a conductor and driver, and sold fruits. I bought my first matatu when I was still young. Not every wealthy person acquired their assets through dubious means. Instead of criticizing me, some people should come to me for lessons on how to run multiple businesses,” Sudi remarked.

Sudi also addressed the recent looting and damage to his entertainment venue, Timba XO, during nationwide protests.

Despite incurring losses exceeding Sh48 million, Sudi remains determined.

“We could have killed over 50 people that day, but I told my guys not to harm anyone. I thank God because things could have turned out differently. I would rather take a personal loss and recover. My arms are still intact, and my brain is still functioning, which is why we will be reopening Timba XO next Wednesday,” he said.
