“Aliniitisha Ksh 3K”: Wanjiru, Woman In Bishop Johanna Deliverance Video Opens Up

Wanjiru, a resident of Nairobi, recently spoke out about the widely circulated and controversial video capturing her experience at Bishop Johanna’s deliverance service.

In an exclusive interview with Kamene FM, the street vendor shared that she had sought spiritual assistance from the clergyman after her husband abandoned her for another woman.

While undergoing the deliverance process, Wanjiru revealed that she lost consciousness and was unaware of the ongoing activities, though she later noticed cameras recording the session.

“I blacked out when the prayers began. I had no idea what was happening. However, after the prayers concluded, I noticed several cameras recording the session,” she recounted.

The aftermath of the incident took a toll on Wanjiru when she discovered her story trending on social media. The overwhelming pressure and negative online comments led her to contemplate suicide.

Furthermore, Wanjiru disclosed that Bishop Johanna requested Ksh 3000 for the prayer and deliverance service. Despite lacking the full amount, she managed to gather Ksh 2000, which the preacher accepted.

“I didn’t have the money. A friend paid the fee on my behalf, and I received the prayers. When we returned to Nairobi, I started looking for the remaining amount. Fortunately, I managed to collect KSh2,000. When we went back for further prayers, he accepted the money,” she revealed.

The video of Wanjiru went viral after capturing Bishop Johanna applying ointment to her in controversial positions. The footage showed her lying on her back in what appeared to be an unconscious state, with the clergyman allegedly performing exorcisms by touching her upper and lower abdomen.

In response to the public outcry, Bishop Johanna distanced himself from the negative sentiments, claiming that during deliverance, he touches various areas as part of the spiritual process.
