Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance ongoing nationwide demonstrations may be over, according to renowned political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi.
This is in response to claims that the Wednesday demonstrations lacked the fervour of the initial protests, which the former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga announced on Tuesday.
Mutahi Ngunyi claimed that it was sad that William Ruto had squandered two days and that he could have defeated Raila Odinga this time around.
This occurs just hours after President William Ruto issued a warning that the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance will not be allowed to ruin the nation.
The President added that the opposition should wait until the following elections to challenge him because the elections were already over.
“Today Maandamano Wednesday To Friday was UNDERWHELMING. No Oomph!. No NEW frontiers. And maybe Maandamano is DEAD. And maybe Raila Odinga has no PLAN. Today, Ruto WON. Or AM I wrong? I have WASTED 2 days,” Mutahi Ngunyi said.
This message has attracted a lot of reactions including response from Ledama Ole Kina, the senator from Narok county.
