Murang’a County Governor, Mwangi Wa Iria on Wednesday, August 11, kicked off his 2022 presidential campaign where he launched branded vehicles that he will use as the campaign trail.
In a video seen by Muranganewspaper.co.ke, the vehicles were branded in red, a color associated with Jubilee Party as the governor seeks to succeed President Kenyatta as the Mt Kenya’s Kingpin.
There is nothing that will bar me from going for this seat and even if I fail the first time, I will keep trying my luck,
Wairia stated.
He went on to add that there were forces trying to pull him down in aims of making him drop the presidential ambitions.
He revealed that he will be vying under his Usawa Kwa Wote Party adding that plans are underway to launch grassroot campaigns in the Mt Kenya Region as well as countrywide.
