Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has stirred laughter online after humorously claiming that he is searching for his “student,” Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai, who has allegedly been skipping his mathematics lessons.
In a light-hearted jab shared during a public address, Babu Owino, who is known for his sharp wit and love for mathematics, joked that Alai consistently performs poorly in the subject and should return to class.
“Natafuta mwanafunzi wangu anaitwa Robert Alai. Hajaingia darasani. Hesabu anapata E kila wakati. Mkimuona, mwambie aingie darasani — somo la hesabu limeanza!” Babu Owino quipped.
The playful remark comes days after Robert Alai boasted about being one of Kenya’s best mathematicians, claiming that he scored an A- in a village school and would have “taught the teacher” if he had studied at Alliance High School.
