Controversial city politician Karen Nyamu has defended her presence at Samidoh’s house in Nyandarua, asserting that she is entitled to stay there because of her financial contribution to its construction. This comes in response to accusations by the singer’s estranged wife, Edday Nderitu, who claimed that Karen was shamelessly residing in another woman’s home without requesting Samidoh to build her one.
Karen contends that she played a significant role in funding the construction of the house and emphasizes that Edday had never visited the premises until it was completed. The nominated lawmaker goes on to allege that she was the sole invitee to the housewarming party.
Adding another dimension to the controversy, Nyamu reveals that she was pregnant with Samidoh’s child during the construction phase, and she, not Edday, was invited to the house’s opening ceremony. She cheekily questions whether Edday ever set foot on the construction site, stating that she regularly provided moral support to Samidoh during the challenging times, especially considering her pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a somewhat defiant tone, Karen suggests that Edday’s accusations have coerced her into revealing details she wasn’t initially prepared to share, cautioning against speaking about matters one is ignorant of.
