There was drama in Mukuruweini Nyeri after a suspected thief returned a stolen cow while mowing like the domestic domestic animal.
The man identified as Kinyua Kariuki, 36, is said to have been among a group of thugs terrorizing the residents with their thuggery antiques.
According to a report by a local daily, Kinyua and his cohorts have been stealing the cows from residents at night and transport them to different counties for quick change.
A resident commenting on the matter said that one of his eight cows was recovered in Murang’a ready for slaughter.
“One of my cows was stolen and it got me so stressed. It was the only cow producing milk to my family. It was being transported to Murang’a for slaughter,” he said.
The man said that he got angry and sort help from a traditional healer after numerous reports to the police with no results.
