Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has revealed how he narrowly escaped death while serving as Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Interior.
Speaking on Friday, Kindiki reportedly recalled the dangerous situations he faced while fighting banditry and insecurity in different parts of the country, saying he was at one point exposed to gunfire and grenades.
According to a statement attributed to the Deputy President, he said he made sacrifices while serving Kenyans and put his life at risk in the fight against bandits.
Kindiki reportedly said that had God not stood by his side during some of those dangerous encounters, he could have lost his life.
