Shock and confusion have emerged on social media after a statement allegedly attributed to Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi claimed that he secretly worked as President William Ruto’s spy while he was still in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
The statement further alleges that whenever the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and other ODM leaders were planning their political moves, Mbadi would allegedly pass the information to Ruto.
The post claims that this was one of the reasons Raila repeatedly failed to secure the presidency despite making several attempts.
