Emerging details indicates that deputy president William Ruto who is a flag bearer of Kenya Kwanza coalition will not be picking Musalia Mudavadi as his running mate as many were expecting.
According to the report, UDA party leader will pick a candidate from mount Kenya region which is one of his strong hold region so as to maintain his support in Uhuru’s backyard.
Among those who stands a high chance of being picked includes Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader Hon William Kabogo, Mathira member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua, Tharaka Nithi senator Hon Kithure Kindiki and Kiharu legislator Hon Ndindi Nyoro.
Otherwise, Musalia Mudavadi seems to be the greatest beneficiary of Kenya Kwanza government as report indicates that that he has been promised top political posts and 40% share in the government if they emerge winners.
This means that UDA and other parties allied to Kenya Kwanza will all be sharing 60% pf the government. Per regions, western will be the region with the highest share in the government.
