Why you should pay your Hustler fund loan- Ruto

President William Ruto has politely asked Kenyans to pay their hustler fund loans on time that allows you togrow your limits.

The president on Wednesday stated the quicker one can pay the debt, they may have a betterchance of growing their limit.

“I urge Kenyans to pay their debts in order to increase their limit,” Ruto said.

The President boasted that as of December 7, 2022, approximatelythirteen million humans had registered for the funds.

“Through the launching of this fund, we are supporting underserved Kenyans with services and products that are responsive to their enterprises. Also, liberating them from shylocks and establishing a culture of saving, investment, and social security,” he said.

The fund is especially designed to assist small-scale traders in the country. The Hustler Fund incorporates4 products: personal, micro business, SME and start-up loans.

To get right of entry to the fund, Kenyans can dial *254# on their cell phones. During the official launch last week, borrowershave been warned against defaulting with the State issuing strict measures to curb the same.

Those who default at the loans will see their interest increased from eight to nine point five per cent
