Kenya’s 4th president, Uhuru Kenyatta is all set for a one month massive tour to the Mt Kenya Region which is considered as his political bedroom ahead of the August General Elections.
Uhuru in his tour is expected to drum up support for the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga who is seeking to be the 5th President of Kenya.
The president is expected to woe in more supporters for the Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader and tell Mt Kenya residents why Raila is good for the vote rich region.
Seemingly, the region has shown massive support for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader, William Ruto.
Uhuru has since endorsed Odinga for the country’s top seat and what according to analysts is a daylight betrayal to the Deputy who was pivotal in making sure Uhuru got the presidency.
Uhuru and Ruto this week have been trading bars in what looks like a battle of the wits.
President Kenyatta is also expected to make an announcement of whether he will merge his Jubilee Party with ODM Party and Kickstart a campaign in the vote rich Mt Kenya region.
