Yesterday in Vihiga, a couple found themselves in legal trouble as they were apprehended for reportedly causing a disturbance to their neighbors’ peace during their intimate moments at night. According to the neighbors, the couple’s activities were not only distracting but sometimes appeared to be violent.
“At times, we hear phrases like ‘Kill me,’ ‘Finish me,’ ‘Nimalize kabisa,’ ‘Chiring’ana umwana.’ It forces us to leave our homes just to ensure that no one is being harmed,” expressed one concerned neighbor.
As a consequence of their actions, the young couple was publicly humiliated by being bound together on a tree.
