Smady Ting And Guzman Man of Mbogi Genje’s Deny Stealing A Motorbike In Kayole

Members of Mbogi Genje, specifically Smady Ting and Guzman, have recently addressed accusations of motorbike theft in Kayole, Nairobi. Smady Ting took to social media to share his side of the story, stating that the bike owner left the vehicle unattended and followed Smady to a friend’s house. Upon returning, the owner discovered the bike missing and allegedly sought someone to blame.

Smady Ting asserted that jealousy played a role in making them easy targets, attributing the accusations to their success as artists. He claimed that someone sought to tarnish their reputation and jeopardize their careers. According to Smady, the bike owner hastily accused them without providing any evidence. Even after reporting the incident to the police, Smady claimed that they faced violence instead of a fair investigation.

The musician emphasized that these false claims and attempts to damage their image would not succeed, expressing confidence that their pride would remain intact.

On the other hand, an undercover police officer known as Saigon Punisher reported that Mbogi Genje members faced public backlash following the motorbike theft accusations. According to Punisher, one of the suspects was apprehended, subjected to a thorough beating, and eventually disclosed the whereabouts of the stolen bike. Subsequently, they were taken to Kayole police station and released on bond.

Saigon Punisher suggested that the musicians should undergo vetting, citing a history of some team members having previous interactions with the police. This adds a layer of complexity to the situation, raising questions about the credibility and conduct of Mbogi Genje members beyond the current accusations.
