Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid has received a blow after Kieni Member of Parliament, Kanini Kega, dumped him like a hot potato.
However he yet to come out and declare at a public discussion, Kega said that he isn’t supporting Raila Odinga’s bid in August but he is in the Azimio La Umoja Movement to ‘eat’ the government money.
Kega made the remarks over the course of the end of the week at Honi Resort in Nyeri County when he went to the Ngogoyo dance facilitated by kikuyu musicians including Lady Wanja.
No recording was allowed in the venue and those who had recorded were forced to delete the videos.
“Huko tuko(Azimio) kazi, that guy (Tinga) is not good at all. When times come will decide,” Kega told revellers who were shouting UDA slogans.
Laikipia Governor, Nderitu Muriithi and Nyeri Town MP, Ngunjiri Wambugu also went to the event.
