Sheryline Anyango, a prominent twerker and emerging musician in Kenya, has openly disclosed how she amassed over Ksh.30 Million through online twerking during the Club Covid era.
Club Covid gained widespread recognition as a show hosted by Xtian Dela amid the Covid-19 lockdown. It was during this period that Sheryline Anyango gained prominence due to her distinctive wedge shape and impressive twerking abilities.
At the age of 19, Sheryline attracted the attention of wealthy individuals who were captivated by her twerking prowess. Apart from earning money through her appearances on Xtian Dela’s show, she also engaged in private twerking sessions.
In an interview with Presenter Ali, Sheryline revealed that she used to twerk with her buttocks exposed, leading people to send her substantial amounts of money. Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown, she not only gained fame but also accumulated a significant sum of money.
Sheryline shared that she made over Ksh.30 Million during this period. Prudently, she allocated the funds by purchasing a Ksh.25 Million house, constructing a Ksh.4 Million house for her parents, and wisely investing the remainder.
Despite her newfound fame and wealth, Sheryline expressed regret for the actions she took to achieve success. Twerking with her buttocks exposed had unintended consequences, including a failed marriage with a Mzungu man who, having married her on paper, eventually abandoned her. This turn of events led Sheryline to return to Kenya, undergo a rebranding process, and embark on a fresh journey as a musician.
