RUTO speaks following revelations that he attempted to assassinate UHURU twice – You won’t believe what he said!

Deputy President William Ruto has opened up on claims that he attempted to kill President Uhuru Kenyatta two times by sabotaging his plane.

Talking at St John Catholic Church in Igembe South, Meru County , Ruto denied ever undermining or intending to sabotaging Uhuru’s plane to assassinate him, terming the statement by political activist Stanley Livondo as dangerous.

“I am calling on leaders and politicians to be careful about what comes out of their mouths because careless and reckless utterances may cost the country a lot by bringing hatred and divisions ahead of the General Election,” William Ruto said.

The DP, who was accompanied by Kenya Kwanza Principals Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula, further asked his rivals in the 2022 races to zero in on selling their manifesto as opposed to fueling hatred.

“No need for mud-slinging each other by telling lies. Let us all meet in the field and embrace peaceful campaigns and allow Kenyans to choose their leaders because the unity of the nation is bigger than any person,” he said.

Livondo, who unseccfully challenged for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat, asserted that Ruto attempted to take Uhuru’s life twice, that is the reason the president broke ranks with him.

“If your friend who is so close to you like a brother attempts to crash a plane that you are on board more than twice, will you forgive him?”

“In the first instance, Uhuru was flying from Kisumu to Nairobi while on the second attempt he was headed to the United States through Dubai. The plane was forced to divert to Kenya because of the botched attempt to crash his plane,” Livondo said.
