Pastor closes down Church after winning 100 Million in Sports Betting

A pastor in Uganda has caused a stir among his congregation and neighbors by closing down his church after winning big in sports betting. According to witnesses, the pastor had held many outdoor crusades in the area where he shared his divine encounter with God and gave grand testimonies of his spiritual journey.

After winning over 100 million Ugandan shillings (equivalent to Ksh 3,480,000), the pastor has decided to shut down the church, shocking many who had believed in him. The pastor later confessed that he had initially opened the church out of greed, rather than divine calling, with the expectation of making millions of shillings through church offerings and tithes.

Despite his initial plans, the pastor claims that he did not make as much money from the church as he had hoped, which led him to seek alternative sources of income. For the past four years, he has been gambling with the money he received from the church, sometimes even coming up with fake church projects to get more money for his bets.

However, the pastor now plans to use his newfound wealth to expand his ministry, claiming that he is a businessman at heart. He intends to start a large shop in a distant town and purchase a nice car, believing that God has finally remembered him.
