A Nyamira County pastor is said to have killed his wife and then later committed suicide on Tuesday.
The man identified as George Abisa also left a letter detailing why he committed the act.
In the suicide note, Abisa alleged that his wife infected him with HIV.
He also added that she got the virus from a local politician who is currently campaigning for Bogichora MCA seat.
“He questioned her over the rumours that were going around about the alleged affair with the politician before stabbing her with a kitchen knife,” Hellen Moraa a local stated.
After killing his wife, Abisa left the note and committed suicide.
The two bodies are currently lying lifeless at the Nyamira County Mortuary.
Investigations are underway as plans to summon the politician already underway.
