Mr. Ibu will find his eternal rest in his native land of Amuri, situated in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, as announced by the family and burial committee. The statement emphasizes the deep reverence held by the Okafor family of Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State, for their revered figure and legend, John Ikechukwu Okafor, whose legacy of love, laughter, and vitality persists even beyond his passing.

“We extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join us on June 28, 2024, as we bid farewell to our cherished son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and in-law,” read the announcement.
