In spite of his fiancée Lynne’s comments about his number of baby mamas, Eric Omondi has plans to share a residence with his son from Jacque Maribe.
Eric Omondi, a comedian turned activist from Kenya, has addressed statements made by his fiancée, Lynne Njihia, asserting herself as his only baby mama.
Omondi openly acknowledged being the biological father of Jacque Maribe’s son, bringing his total number of children to two. During a Radio Jambo interview, he revealed discussions with Maribe about the possibility of their son moving in with him.
Highlighting his parental responsibilities, Omondi affirmed his commitment to raising, educating, and cohabiting with his son. He declared, “Ni mtoto wangu, tulishaongea na Jacque na nitamchukua niishi na yeye. He is my son; I have two children. I will teach him, raise him, live with him; he is my child.”
Lynne Njihia, Omondi’s fiancée, had confidently declared herself as his sole baby mama in a previous Q&A on her Instagram stories. When asked if she believed she was the only one, she chuckled and asserted, “No, I don’t. He doesn’t even know, he doesn’t. Mimi ndio niko.”
During the Q&A, Lynne addressed inquiries about expanding their family, stating that they currently have no immediate plans for another child. She said, “For now, mother of one, daddy of one period.”
Despite concerns about their significant 19-year age difference, Lynne embraced the idea that love is love. The couple has been transparent about their relationship, with Lynne consistently expressing love and commitment to Eric Omondi.
The public dispute between Jacque Maribe and Eric Omondi regarding paternity has persisted since 2021, with both parties airing their grievances online. Maribe initially accused Omondi of being a deadbeat dad, leading to a series of public exchanges. She labeled him a liar and expressed weariness about continuing discussions on paternity.
In response, Omondi requested a DNA test during a Milele FM interview, asserting that he was anticipating his first child with his pregnant girlfriend.
