Akothee and Denis Omosh Schweizer celebrated their commitment to each other in a lavish white wedding ceremony at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi on April 10, 2023.
The grand wedding was graced by numerous distinguished guests, including Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, Kisumu First Lady Dorothy Nyong’o, Migori First Lady Agnes Ayacko, renowned lawyer Patrick Lumumba, and Ida Odinga, the wife of Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
Furthermore, the event also marked a joyous celebration of Akothee’s birthday, as she shared on Instagram that her ultimate wish was to exchange vows on her special day.
Akothee and Denis requested that the wedding ceremony adhere to a white theme, with guests adorned in exquisite outfits accented by touches of gold. They kindly asked attendees to refrain from wearing white attire.
Following their wedding, the couple embarked on a luxurious honeymoon in Santorini, Greece. Mr. Omosh revealed that their honeymoon would continue until their second grand wedding, which is scheduled to take place in Switzerland, his home country.
Akothee and Mr. Omosh’s paths initially crossed while she was enjoying a vacation in France. Intrigued by her presence, Mr. Omosh, with the help of his friend, persuaded the businesswoman to meet him in Switzerland for their first face-to-face interaction, a meeting that solidified their relationship.
“The day I first met Esther, it was through my friend Pius, who resides near Lake Zug. She was traveling from France to Italy for her holiday, and after our video call, I was determined to meet her in person. Pius managed to convince her to come to Switzerland, and on July 16th, Esther Akothee became mine,” he shared previously.
Mr. Omosh emphasized that Akothee’s fame and social status had no influence on his affection for her. It was her spirit, intellect, and captivating personality that truly captivated and won his heart.
Akothee, through a Facebook post, excitedly declared, “Honeymoon continues… Omosh says we shall be on honeymoon until the next wedding. He is loving me in different angles and styles!”
