Edday Nderitu, the estranged wife of Samidoh, has staunchly defended her friend Bernice Saroni, who is not only a close companion but also believed to be a relative of Samidoh. This follows accusations by online users suggesting that Bernice played a role in Edday’s decision to leave her marriage.
Earlier this year, Edday made headlines when she left Kenya, along with her three children shared with Samidoh, following multiple conflicts with Samidoh’s ex-partner, Senator Karen Nyamu.
Edday expressed deep gratitude to Saroni, acknowledging her instrumental support in relocating to the United States. She credited Bernice for saving her and her children from a potentially dire situation, emphasizing that without Bernice’s assistance, her eldest child might have ended up in rehab, and she herself might not be alive.
In a heartfelt comment on one of Bernice’s TikTok videos, Edday wrote, “May God bless you, gal. Whatever you did for me and my kids is something I can’t even explain. My daughter could be in rehab, and I would be six feet under.”
Responding to online criticism, Bernice addressed the allegations in a TikTok video, expressing pride in the crucial role she played in facilitating Edday’s relocation to the US. She highlighted the challenges involved in such a move and affirmed the genuine happiness and thriving state of Edday and her children in their new environment.
“I am super proud of myself for what I did for her. Bringing her to the US, do you think coming to the US is easy? And coming with kids! I am super proud of myself. Today, being Thanksgiving, one thing I am grateful to God for is Edith being in the US. Can’t you see how she glows?” Bernice shared.
Addressing further criticism, Bernice defended Edday’s well-being and the positive transformation in her children. She questioned those passing judgment, emphasizing the importance of supporting one’s family and spreading love instead of engaging in gossip and negativity.
“In case you haven’t seen lately, go to her page and see how well she looks, how well off she is. She is blessed, she is happy, she is at peace. And you think I would feel bad? Just because I am a single mom, you judge me for taking her from her home? What do you do for your family? Do you support them, or do you harm them with your words? If all you do is gossip about your family, let me tell you, here we spread love,” Bernice asserted in the viral TikTok video.
