Irungu Kang’ata is the current governor of Muranga County, located in central Kenya. He was born on November 2nd, 1978, making him 42 years old. Kang’ata received his primary education at St. Mark’s Primary School before proceeding to St. Peter’s High School for his secondary education.

After completing high school, Kang’ata enrolled at the University of Nairobi where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Law at the same university.
