Kagaa villagers in Kenol are in fear after a woman’s body was found badly multilated and dumped near Kagaa Secondary School.
Students who were going to school discovered the body and alerted the neighbors and teachers.
One of the residents identified as Mary Wanjiru speaking to Muranganewspaper.co.ke said she saw students milling around the scene and she went to check only to find a woman’s body.
We looked closely and saw it was a human body which had been wrapped in a sack,
she said.
Another resident, John Maina said that the body had been cut into three pieces.
“The body has been cut along the waistline, slightly above the chest and the pieces wrapped together in a sack,” he said.
“We could clearly see the trail of blood along the footpath but when we got to the main road it disappeared,” he said.
Another shocked residents, Margaret Wanja said that the incident has instilled fear among the residents.
“We are scared because we don’t know who did this and why and if they could also be targeting any of us here,
She said.
The body has since been transferred to the Murang’a County Mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
