In a recent interview with Eric Omondi on his show, popular Kenyan YouTuber Mungai Eve revealed that she started dating her current boyfriend and director, Trevor, after “snatching” him from his ex-girlfriend. According to Eve, she met Trevor during one of his photo shoots in Thika, where he was working as a photographer. Although Trevor had a background in music, Eve clarified that they didn’t meet through the music industry as she was only a video vixen at the time.
Eve explained that they initially started off as friends since they were both in relationships, but they bonded over their shared experiences of relationship troubles. She eventually went to Trevor’s place to collect the photos from their shoot, and they started spending more time together as they grew closer. Despite the fact that they were both seeing other people at the time, Eve and Trevor started dating four months after their first encounter.
